Melitha A. Sagebiel

Melitha (Mrs. Charles) Sagebiel passed away Saturday, June 30th, at the age of 86.

Melitha Sagebiel was born June 5, 1926, to Harry A.L. Wilke & Ada Danz Wilke on their farm at Albert, TX. On November 10, 1946, she was married to Charles Sagebiel at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall.

Melitha is survived by her husband Charles Sagebiel of Fredericksburg; her daughters: Barbara Gregory of Fredericksburg; Karen Robinson of Dallas; Sherry Gallini & husband Dan of Plano; 4 grandchildren: Josh Gallini & wife Rachel; Lindsay Robinson Nogueria & husband Marcio; Laura Robinson; Julie Lewis & husband Daniel; 3 great-grandchildren; brother: Harry F. Wilke, & a sister, Ada W. Wilke.

Melitha was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers: Hugo Wilke, Wilhelm Wilke, Norman Wilke, Raymond Wilke, Kasper Wilke, & a sister, Elizabeth Boos.

Funeral services for Melitha Sagebiel will be held Tuesday, July 3rd, 3 PM, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with Rev. Steve Qualben officiating. Graveside service & interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation for Melitha Sagebiel will be Monday, July 2nd, 6-8 PM, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice.
