Alene Gillespie passed away Friday, March 5th, at the age of 91.

Alene is survived by her husband, James D. Gillespie of Fredericksburg; son, Stan Gillespie of Blanco and daughter, Lisa Ochoa of Fredericksburg.

Alene was born December 11, 1929, in Del Rio, to John and Jessie Lee Babb Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Michael Gillespie, grandson Travis Gillespie and 2 brothers, Jesse and Warner Davis.

Alene's body will be cremated with a private family celebration of her life.
