Aline Morrow Dear Mund of Fredericksburg passed away on February 17, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born on April 13, 1925 to Albert Henry and Susie Lititia Alexander Morrow in the Stratton community in DeWitt County TX. she was married to Joe Steve Dear until his passing in 1986. She later married Ted Mund in 1997 he also preceded her in death. She worked at Sam Houston High School in San Antonio as a bookkeeper and Registrar from 1970 – 1990.


She is survived by her daughters; Jolene Gordon and her husband Dr. William Gordon of Fredericksburg TX, Loralee Dear of Shertz TX; sisters Pauline Eggelston of Austin TX, Edith Owen and husband Curtis of Lockhart TX,; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Susie Morrow, husbands Joe Steve Dear and Theodore Mund, brothers, Marcus Morrow and Joseph Morrow.



Funeral Services will be on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at 2:00p.m. in the Primitive Baptist Church in the Stratton Community in DeWitt County TX with Jeb Owen officiating interment to follow in the Alexander Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00p.m. – 2:00p.m. Tuesday February 21, 2017 in the Primitive Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Turner, Colton Armstrong, Jillian Gordon Foerster, Holly Gordon, Colin Gordon.
Honorary pallbearers will be. Bill Gordon, Tom Owen, Jim Morrow, David Morrow, Don Ross, Bruce Coates, David Schulz.


Memorials may be made to Primitive Baptist Church in Stratton, Hill Country Memorial Hospice or a charity of choice.
