Bambie Marie Pehl Walter was born August 29, 1937, in Gillespie County, to parents Bernhard Alfred Pehl and Lillie Grona Pehl.

She was baptized and confirmed in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg TX.

She married Robert Louis Walter in St. Mary's Catholic Church on November 23, 1957.

She attended 1st thru 6th grade at Morris Ranch School, 7th and 8th grade at St. Mary's and 9th thru 12th at Fredericksburg High School. She graduated from Nixon Clay Business College in Austin TX. She worked as a typist for Internal Revenue Service and Workers Comp Insurance in Austin until getting married. She then helped her husband run Walters Building and supply.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband , brother Orvill Pehl (in infancy) and brother-in-law Gary Crow.

She is survived by daughters Barbara Walter Segner and husband Thomas, Sandra Walter Ahrens and husband Douglas, 4 granddaughters, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Ellen Mrs. William Womack and Vernell Crow.

A Graveside service will take place on Thursday July 24, 2025 in the Greenwood Cemetery.
