Mr. Baptist Kager passed away December 24th at the age of 92.

Baptist is survived by his wife Paula Kager, daughter Sigrid Schjonning and husband Warren of Monroe VA, son Fred Kager and wife Linda of Fredericksburg, step-son Daron Dyer and wife Angel of Elizabethon TN; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and brother Alfred Kager of Apopka  FL.

Baptist was born January 16, 1932, in Trunstadt Germany to Christian and Elizabeth Lamprecht Kager. He married Paula Laux May 18, 2000. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Theresa, grandchild Tiffany Welch, step-son Michael Dyer and siblings Maria, Georg, Hans and Veronica.

The family will greet friends 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, January 1st, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday January 2nd, in Fredericksburg Bible Church, with Pastor Alex Garcia officiating.

Serving as pallbearers: Christian Welch, Jonathon Schjonnig, Caleb Welch, Rustan Kager ,Wess Burnett and Robert Kager.

Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
