Barbara was born in Houston Texas Aug. 12, 1941 and was the only child of Dean and Marie Stanley.

She married Douglas P. Allen Sr. while attending college. Although they divorced, they remained good friends until he passed away in 2023. She is survived by her children, Douglas Allen Jr and his wife Claudia of Ft. Collins Co. And Kellie M Allen and her wife, Kelle of Fredericksburg Tx. She also had 3 grandchildren; Travis M. Allen of Fredericksburg Texas for which she often confused as "my son" because she was instrumental in helping to raise him. She enjoyed spoiling him as much as she could and one of her favorite things was when Travis spoiled her. Natasha Allen of Long Island N.Y., Natasha became her go to person via phone when she was anxious or sad. Natasha had the gift of calming and of reassuring her. Christopher Allen of Ft Collins, Co whom she called her "miracle grandchild", as he was born later in life.

Barbara spent most of her life as a homemaker and loved spending as much time as possible with her family, especially, her 3 grandchildren. She loved traveling_anywhere there was an ocean, she loved gardening, cooking she·loved her farm animals. She often adopted many stray and abandoned dogs or cats to give them a loving home. She was a devout Trump Patriot and she had plenty to say if met with opposition! Her loss will forever leave a void in her family. She will be missed immensely.

Graveside services for Barbara Allen will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 10th, in Greenwood Cemetery.
