Bernice Ruth Dryden of Fredericksburg passed away on Monday December 6, 2021 at the age of 87. She was born in Doss TX on October 1, 1934 to Richard Neffendorf Sr and Frieda Friedrich Neffendorf. She married William "Bill" Dryden on July 28, 1962.

She is survived by her children Bill Dryden and wife Violet of Marietta GA, Rick Dryden of Ft. Worth, Janet Delaney and husband Mark of Pagosa Springs CO, Donna Terry and Carey Hancock of Junction TX, Linda Laumann and husband Andy of Fredericksburg, Connie Jenschke and husband Archie of Fredericksburg, Dee Dryden of Round Rock TX.; Sister Frieda Louise Smith and husband Buzzy of Kerrville TX; Sisters-in-law Betty Neffendorf, Ruthie Neffendorf, Virginia Neffendorf ; 5 grandchildren Shannon Solis Baca, Dawn Terry Baker, Danielle Terry Hernandez, Macalah Jenschke, Chase Jenschke, and Jake Laumann and 3 great grandchildren, Devon Devora, Zobek Zapeda, Zaria Contreras.

She is preceded in death by her husband William Dryden, parents Richard and Frieda Neffendorf, sisters; Margaret Neffendorf, Edna Gerloff, Vera Hertel, Laura Gerloff; brothers; Raymond Neffendorf, William Neffendorf, Richard Neffendorf Jr., Felix Neffendorf, James David Neffendorf, and Lee Neffendorf.

Visitation will be Friday December 10, 2021 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home

Funeral Service will be at Fredericksburg Funeral Home on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 10:00a.m. with Michael Burdick officiating. Interment will follow at the Friedrich Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Neffendorf, Duane Neffendorf, Ricky Neffendorf, Richie Neffendorf, Archie Jenschke, and Andy Laumann.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or charity of one's choice.
