Bernice Lucille Holloway of Fredericksburg passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 89. She was born in Fredericksburg to Otto and Leola Everett Klaerner in 1933. She married Carroll Don Holloway on November 17, 1951.

Bernice is survived by her children Darrell Holloway and wife Mellissa of Buchanan Dam, Donnice Negus of Round Rock, Gary Holloway of Fredericksburg; as well as 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Carroll Don Holloway, her parents Otto and Leola Klaerner, siblings Oliver Sam Klaerner, Kermit Klaerner, Lorena Edson, Marie Dietrich, Janelle Ann Klaerner in infancy and son-in-law Jeff Negus.

Visitation will be Friday April 14, 2023 from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place at 12:00p.m. in the chapel of  Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Rev Justin Dolgener officiating.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, Hill Country Community Needs Council or the Charity of your choice.
