Bettye Jane Lucas passed away Sunday, January 23 ^rd , at the age of 94.

Bettye is survived by her children: Mark Lucas and wife Kathy of The Woodlands, Brian Lucas of Portland, Paul Lucas of Corpus Christi, David Lucas and wife Martha of Fredericksburg; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Bettye was born December 20, 1927, in Waco TX, to Dr. James Rucker Dickson and Lois Jones Dickson. She was a research librarian.

Per her wishes Bettye Lucas will be cremated with private family services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Tunnel 2 Towers, or the charity of one's choice.
