Bonefacio "Barney"  Sanchez passed away on Wednesday February 1, 2023 at the age of 91. He was born on June 2, 1931 in Fredericksburg to Gregorio and Nativida Bazan Sanchez He married Isidora "Chata" Rodriguez on December 1, 1962.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife Isidora "Chata"  Sanchez of Fredericksburg, children David Sanchez of San Antonio, Delia Sanchez of Fredericksburg and Freddy Sanchez of Kerrville; 2 grandchildren Brandon and Nicole Sanchez; siblings Mary Angel, Helen Cervantes, Olivia Martinez, Rudy Sanchez, John Sanchez, Greg Sanchez.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gregorio and Nativida Sanchez, siblings; Willie, Jessie, Lupe, Francisco, Antonio, Blanca.

Visitation will be Sunday February 5, 2023 from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. with a Vigil at 6:00p.m.

Mass of resurrection will take place Monday February 6, 2023 at 10:00a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriquez, Henry Gonzalez, Peter Gonzalez, Clem Castillo, Jody Sanchez.

Memorials may be made to Loving Care, Sisters of Divine Providence, or the charity of your choice.
