Byron A. Watts of Fredericksburg passed away on June 25, 2024 at the age of 86. He was born in Rocky ford CO to Ervin M. and Bertha Ranft Watts. He was raised in the Boerne area.

He married Jenny Crenwelge on July 30 1960. He worked in retail his whole life starting in high school and after graduation. He managed Lehman's , Winn's and TG&Y stores all over Texas and New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Jenny Watts of Fredericksburg, Son Glenn Watts and his wife Donna, daughter Lori McClellan and husband Michael; grandchildren Chris and Nicole Watts, Natalie Watts, Emma Kranich and husband Daniel, AJ McClellan; sister-in-law Alyce Watts; brother-in-law Dorman Crenwelge and wife Patsy; nieces and nephews, Lisa and Steven Byrd, Rick Watts, Shelly Perkins, Melinda Perkins, Tina and Steve Klein, Douglas and Adonica Crenwelge.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Bertha Watts, brother Ervin Watts Jr., sister Mary Perkins, brother-in-law Charles Perkins, granddaughter Lauren Marie Watts.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday June 28, 2024 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home

A Memorial service will take place on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 2:00p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church in Cherry Spring .
