Carol Ann Carruthers died on December 27 ^th at the age of 63.

Carol was born December 18 ^th , 1959 in Rocksprings, TX to Walter and Ruth (Bendele) Carruthers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her infant brother Robert Curtis Carruthers

Carol is survived by her sister, Donna Carruthers of Carta Valley, TX, and numerous cousins

Carol was a 1978 graduate of Rocksprings High School in Rocksprings TX, and held an associate's Degree in Nursing from S.W. Texas Junior College in Uvalde TX.

During her working career she held several jobs (LVN, telephone operator, school bus driver, cook, care giver) but her most rewarding job, and the one that she was most suitable for was that of teacher's aide for special needs, & at risk youth.

Carol seemed to have a natural gift for taking care of God's little creatures from orphan lambs, kid goats, kittens, and a baby deer to injured birds.

Carol will be cremated with graveside services at the Carta Valley Cemetery in Carta Valley Texas. Services will be held on Sunday January 29 ^th @ 1:30 pm
