Carolyn Helmers passed away Friday, March 10th, at the age of 66.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Alvin Helmers of Stonewall; son , Keith Helmers & wife Leah Crumley of Fredericksburg; 2 grandchildren: Cody & Mason Helmers; brother, Carl "Tiny" Solbrig & wife Donna.

Carolyn was born April 23, 1950, to Milton & Margaret Behrends Solbrig. She married Alvin Helmers June 12, 1971. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carolyn worked for Texas Dept. of health in Austin for nearly 31 years. After retirement to Gillespie County, she worked for Michael J. Bolton & Associates.

Funeral services for Carolyn Helmers will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 14th, in Trinity Lutheran Church of Stonewall, with Rev. Percy Smerek officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Wilke Cemetery of Albert.
Serving as pallbearers will be Stewart Solbrig, Terrin Solbrig, Jacob Solbrig, Jeff Domel, Ricky Wooten & Brian Miertschin.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Monday, March 13th, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home & 12-1 p.m., Tuesday, March 14th, in Trinity Lutheran Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Trinity Lutheran Church, Stonewall VFD, or the charity of one's choice.
