Charles Eldane Brown passed away Friday, September 27 ^th , at the age of 86.

Eldane is survived by 4 children: Jane Esquell & husband Jerald of Harper, Kathleen Cason & husband Ricky of Blackwell, Noah Allen & Becky Foster of Harper, Juan John Brown & wife Susie of Harper; 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.

Eldane was born June 13, 1933, in Gillespie County, to Wallace Alexander & Mattie Bell Cowsert Brown. He married Jo Nell Knox September 15, 1961, in Kerr County. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, brother Bill Brown & a sibling in infancy.

Services for Eldane Brown will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 1 ^st , in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home, with Chaplin Mark McCravey officiating. Graveside services will follow in Harper Community Cemetery.

The family will greet friends Monday, September 30 ^th , 4-6 p.m., in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
