Mr. Charles Eckhardt passed away October 15th at the age of 80.

Charles is survived by his wife Kay Bauman Eckhardt; children Kayla Sanchez and husband Pablo of Fredericksburg, Sheree Burrow of Llano, Darren Eckhardt and wfe Robyn of Fredericksburg; 4 grandchildren: Kaylyn Craig and husband Jes, Kwinn Burrow, Case Eckhardt, Madyson Eckhardt; 1 great grandchild Presley Craig; siblings Helen Eckhardt, Gladys Friedrich and husband Dale and Denise Eckhardt.

Charles was born August 1, 1945, in Fredericksburg, to Alfred and Elisa Priess Eckhardt. He married Lila Kay Bauman June 24, 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Gerlene Hill and great granddaughter Kynleigh Groce.

The family will greet friends 4-6 p.m., Sunday, October 19th, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Rev. Clint Pluenneke officiating.

Funeral services will be 2p.m., Monday, October 20th, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
