Cynthia B. Thames of Fredericksburg passed away on August 19, 2026 at the age of 79. She was born in Japan to J.P.  and Lois Pennington Thames. She was married to Dennis Rebertus. She worked as an aerospace engineer. She is preceded in death by her husband Dennis Rebertus, her parents J.P. and Lois Thames brother Greg Thames.

   Per her wishes she will be cremated with a service at a later date.
