Obituary

Cynthia (Cindy) Grace White, beloved sister, cousin, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on January 27, 2025, at the age of 67. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on November 20, 1957, and spent the majority of her life in the Chicagoland area. She spent the final decade of her life in Fredericksburg, Texas, where she built connections within her community.

Cindy was a passionate and nostalgic soul. She had a gift for bringing the past to life through stories about her personal history and ancestry, captivating all who listened. While her accounts often stretched the boundaries of reality, they nonetheless captured the imagination of those who encountered them. She was also an avid motorcycle enthusiast who prided herself on her many solo cross-country rides, relishing the sense of freedom and adventure that came with each ride. She loved traveling, and made many connections through her journeys to the southwestern United States and Sweden. Cindy's most cherished adventure remains her solo ride to the Arctic Circle—off-roading through Alaska, close encounters with bears, and embracing the wild.

She is survived by her brothers, Joseph Weirich, William White, and Anthony White, and nieces and nephews Christopher Weirich, Brigid Weirich, Chelsea Weirich, Joseph Weirich, Benjamin Weirich, Michelle White, Roxanne White, Griffin White, Monica White, Michael White, and many other beloved relatives. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, whether they were enchanted by her stories, or sharing in the laughter that followed her tales.

A celebration of her life will be held on March 2, 2025, where friends and family can gather to remember Cindy's warmth and spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hill County SPCA in honor of Cindy's love for dogs and her lasting impact on those around her.

Cindy's memory will live on in the stories she shared, the lives she touched, and the love she gave so freely. May she rest in peace.Per her wishes she will be cremated, no local services are scheduled.
