Daniel Albert Powell of Fredericksburg passed away on April 27, 2025 at the age of 76. He was born to Thomas Frederick Powell Jr and Gertrude Gawlik Powell in 1948 in Sherman TX. He married Grace Katherine Ogden in McAllen TX in 1968. He worked as a general contractor building homes and commercial buildings.

He is survived by his son Lance Christopher Powel of Mount Vernon MD; grandchildren Hayley Katherine Hawkes, Heather Miller, Ashley Miller, Lance Powell II, Kai Grace Powell.

He is preceded in death by his wife Grace Katherine Powell; daughter Katherine Danielle Powell Miller; brother Roger William Powell.

Visitation will take place on Thursday May 8, 2025 from 10:00 am – 11:00am in the  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00am in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Pallbearers will be: Rick Weirich, Chris Weirich, Bob Kay, Brian Washburn, Aaron Kuhlmann, James Truit.

Honorary pallbearers; William Wicker, Brian mith, Stev Jeans, C.J. Atkinson, Wilson Blackburn, Phillip Hawkes.
