Daniel Lee Sagebiel of Fredericksburg passed away on October 23, 2020 at the age of 75. He was born in Gillespie County TX to Ewald and Adela Baethge Sagebiel. On April 30 1966 he married Carolee Kae Kallenburg in Fredericksburg.

Daniel Sagebiel is survived by his wife of 54 years Carolee Sagebiel of Fredericksburg; daughters Sheri Sagebiel-Gray of Fredericksburg, Leesa Sagebiel- Cantu and husband Tony of Hutto; 6 grandchildren Patience Conley and husband Chris, Desmond Cantu and  Dean Park, Ryan Cantu, James Gray, Desarae Cantu, Austin Sagebiel; great grandchildren Kyra Conley and Gaige Conley; sister-in-law Shirley Sagebiel.

He is preceded in death by his parents Ewald and Adela Sagebiel; brother David Sagebiel.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday October 27, 2020 from 4:00p.m. -6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday October 28, 2020 at 2:30p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home. After the service Mr. Sagebiel will be cremated and his ashes will be interred in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice St. Mary's A.C.T.S., Grapetown Shooting Club, or a charity of one's choice.
