David Walter Moldenhauer of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday December 5, 2021 at the age of 78. David was born in Fredericksburg to Walter Moldenhauer and Erna Wunderlich Moldenhauer on August 16, 1943.

He worked as an auto mechanic and raced cars at the Longhorn Speedway in Austin TX.

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl Muhle and husband Sidney of Burnet TX; sister Annie Frantzen, brother Walter Moldenhauer Jr. ; 3 grandchildren Kyle Moldenhauer, Benjamin Muhle and Colt Muhle.

David is preceded in death by his parents Walter Moldenhauer Sr. and Erna Moldenhauer; brother  Andy Mioldenhauer, sisters Rosie Boos, Joyce Manning,  Betty Tschirhart.

A memorial will take place on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 10:00a.m. at the baseball field at the corner of 290 East and Coronet in Stonewall TX with pastor David Priem officiating.
