Debbie Ellis (73), best friend, life partner and beloved wife passed away quietly at home on April 17, 2023 from complications of ovarian cancer.

Fulfilling her dreams of seeing all that the world has to offer, she embarked on a 30 year career as a Delta Airlines flight attendant. Never tiring of visiting foreign lands, she was always inspired by the people and places she encountered around the globe. Retiring to the Hill Country retreat of Fredericksburg, Texas, she pursued her love of gardening and the local wildlife, while still managing to continue her worldly travels. Possessing an irresistible smile and a genuinely warm heart, she made her way through this life with a simple grace.

Proceeded in death by her parents, Perry and Kathryn Gill, Debbie will live on in the memories of her twin sister Dana McGill, sister-in-law Cindy Roach and husband Tim Roach, nephews Garrett and Justin Roach, niece Emily Baxter and her loving husband of 50 years, Rick.

Her final days were elevated by the immeasurable kindness and support of the staff at Texas Oncology Fredericksburg, TX, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, and an amazing group of nurses and staff at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital in San Antonio, TX. These caring and gentle spirits will always shine brightly in her memory.
