Delia Marie Vella of Fredericksburg passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born in Houston Texas to Amadeo D. and Zenaida Perez Salazar.  She was married to Rudy Vela.

Delia is survived by her children Melinda Mandoreno and husband Kevin of Fredericksburg, Madelene Courchene and husband Peter of Houston, Marcia Vela-Oakes and husband David of Houston, grandchildren Jacqueline Spayd, Michael Courchene, Tasi Vela, and Xander Vela; brother Carlos Salazar and wife Becky.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rudy Vela, her parents

Amadeo and Zenaida Salazar, sister Ninfa Mohica.

Per her wishes she will be cremated with a private family service at a later date.

Memorials in Delia's name may be made to the Fredericksburg Food Pantry, Hill Country Needs Council or the charity of your choice.
