Denver John Mixon of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday February 23, 2025 at the age of 80. He was born in Kennedy TX to Denver Edward and Ruth McVicar Mixon in 1945. He married Phyllis Ann Smith in 1968 in Runge TX.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Ann Mixon, sons Jeffrey John Mixon of Houston, Michael Scott Mixon and wife Laura of Austin, brothers James Allen Mixon and wife Carrie, Larry Lee Mixon and wife Patty; as well as 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will take place in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church on Thursday February 27 from 9:00a.m. – 10:00a.m. with Funeral Service at 10:00a.m. A private family graveside will take place in Kennedy TX.

Memorials may be made to Doss VFD, St. Peter Lutheran Church in Doss, Methodist Hill Country Hospice, or the Charity of your choice.
