Dexter K. Sagebiel of Llano passed away of July 10, 2026 at the age of 81. He was born in San Francisco CA and raised in Llano TX by his parents Martin and Nora Land Sagebiel. He married Jennabeth Klett on New Year's Eve 1965 in Bethany Lutheran Church.

Dexter is survived by his wife Jennabeth Sagebiel of Llano; his children Trudy Vollmar and husband Steven of Llano, Terri Vogel and husband Jamey of Stonewall; brothers David Willmann and Karl Willmann,  4 grandchildren and 7great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Nora Sagebiel, birth mother Ethel Sagebiel Willmann, sister Janet Willmann, and parents -in-law Walter and Alice Geitsweidt Klett.

Visitation will be Thursday July 16, 2026 from 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will take place Friday July 17, 2026 at 11:00a.m. in Hill Country Church.

Memorials may be made to Gillespie County 4H, Blanco County 4H, Llano County 4H, Hill Country Church Building Fund, or the charity of your choice.
