With profound love and deep sorrow, we celebrate the life of Dominga D. Lange, who passed away

peacefully on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025. Her journey on this earth was filled with

grace, strength, and a boundless love that touched everyone blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro DeHoyos and Ignacia H. DeHoyos, 1 brother, 5

sisters, 1 daughter, and 3 grandchildren. Though they went before her, their spirits surely welcomed her

home with open arms.

Dominga lived her life for her family. She gave endlessly—her warmth, her wisdom, her gentle hands,

and her comforting presence. She created a home where everyone felt safe, loved, and deeply

understood. She had a way of making each person feel like the most important person in the world. Her

laughter could fill a room, her stories stitched generations together, and her heart was a place of peace

for anyone who needed it.

To her children, she was a steady foundation—guiding them with patience, humor, and quiet strength.

To her grandchildren, she was a source of joy, comfort, and unconditional love. Her cooking, her

traditions, and her hugs will be remembered forever. Her door was always open, her table always

welcoming, and her love endless and unwavering.

She is survived with love by her six children and their spouses:

• Mary Jane Perez & Jose Ramirez of Fredericksburg, Texas

• Sally & Troy Martinez of San Angelo, Texas

• Nancy & Darrell Thompson of Mason, Texas

• Martin & Ida Cortez of Boerne, Texas

• Samuel & Amanda Cortez of Kerrville, Texas

• Andrea Cortez & Raymond Casarez of Harper, Texas

She is also lovingly remembered by her 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 10

great-great-grandchildren, each one carrying a piece of her heart and her legacy forward. She loved

them each uniquely, celebrated their accomplishments, prayed for their protection, and cherished every

moment she spent with them.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory

and the love she shared so freely.

Her legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and family. She taught those around her the meaning of

strength, the beauty of patience, and the power of kindness. Her presence brought comfort, her love

brought peace, and her memory will forever bring warmth to all who knew her.
