Don Carlos Masters Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday September 21st, 2022 at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 7 days.  Don was born December 14th 1946 in Floresville, Texas to Don Carlos Masters Sr. and Lillian Jay Williams.

He and Nancy Lea Tatum were married on May 30, 1969 in Sutherland Springs.  Don was a resident of Fredericksburg for 11 years and a former resident of Floresville.  He was gentle, meek, kind and the most generous soul.  He always put others first and was a dedicated community servant, loved his family dearly and was an incredible friend to all who knew him.   Don was a veteran of the US Army, faithfully serving our nation in the 101st Airborne division, Screaming Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.  He is survived by daughters Shanna Moczygemba and husband Daryl of Cedar Park and Sherri Carter and husband Brandon of San Antonio, sister Loraine Miller and husband Robert, grandchildren Emma Kate Carter, Christian Carter, Ella Carter, and many nieces, nephews and other family members who loved him.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
