Dorothy Cornehl of Fredericksburg passed away on April 17, 2018 at the age of 93. She was born on July 14, 1924 in Fredericksburg to Felix and Ella Meckel Saegner. On June 20, 1948 she married Adolph Cornehl in Fredericksburg.

She is survived by her daughter Cathleen Straube of Fredericksburg, 2 grandchildren Wendy Collier and husband Benjamin, Joey Straube and wife Rosalie, 7 great grandchildren, Aiden Bashrum, Gage Collier, Reed Collier, Teagan Collier, Lillian Straube, Daisey Straube, Calvin Todd and 1 great-great grandchild Alec Collier Perez.

She is preceded in death by her husband Adolph Cornehl, daughter Susanna Cornehl, great granddaughter Halle Paige Collier, brother Fred Saegner.

Per her wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will take place on Monday April 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Pastor Casey Zesch presiding. A reception will follow in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday April 22nd from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. and Monday April 23 ^rd from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Bethany Lutheran Church or the charity of one's choice.
