Dorothy Mae Hutton Knauth of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday September 9, 2018 at the age of 92. She was born June 20, 1926 to Edgar and Mavis Clara Jenkins Hutton in Corsicana TX. She married Howard Garrett Sr. after his passing she remarried to Ben Knauth.

She is survived by her children Howard Garrett Jr and wife Sandra of Cypress, Suzanne Kahanek and husband David, Henry Kahanek and wife Sharry, as well as 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her first husband Howard Garrett Sr., her second husband Benjamin Knauth, daughter Dianne Garrett Baker and brother Bobby Hutton.

Visitation with the family will be on Thursday September 13, 2018 from 4:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will take place on Friday September 14, 2018 at 1:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church with Monte Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery
