Dorothy Louise Schmidtzinsky passed away Saturday, October 2 ^nd , at the age of 71.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Frank Schmidtzinsky of Fredericksburg; daughter Patricia Smith and husband Dave; 2 grandchildren, Shyla Kalbacher and husband Kevin and Kaleigh Duecker and husband Jarvis; 3 great grandchildren: Allison Borlace, Carmen Kalbacher, Camden Duecker; siblings Daniel Weber and wife Pamela of New Mexico, David Weber of McKinney, Marcus Weber and wife Katherine of New Braunfels, Evelyn Kohn and husband Joe of New Braunfels, Delores Grabbs and husband Frank of Cisco.

Dorothy was born July 11, 1950, in Fredericksburg, to Ewald and Myrtle Durst Weber. She married Frank Schmidtzinsky April 27, 1968, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. She worked making jewelry for many years at James Avery.

Dorothy Schmidtzinsky will be cremated, with a celebration of her life at a later date.
