Dorthy Louise Hannemann's Obituary
Dorthy Louise Hannemann of Fredericksburg passed away on June 6, 2017 at the age of 93.
She was born on August 12, 1923 to Max T. and Cora Schaper Henke in Fredericksburg. She married Herold C. "Hans" Hannemann on November 26, 1944.
She is survived by her children Helen Rode and husband Allen of Fredericksburg, Dennis Hannemann and wife Jodi of Fredericksburg, Son –in-Law Kenneth Lindig of Stonewall, as well as 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Hans Hannemann, daughter Linda Lindig, her parents Max and Cora Henke, and a brother Sidney Henke.
Visitation will be Thursday June 8, 2017 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
She will lie in state Friday June 9, 2017 from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church.
Funeral Services will be on Friday June 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Rick Hartmann officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Keith Lindig, Kevin Lindig, Carl Hannemann, Daniel Hannemann, Adam Laughlin, and Allen Laughlin, Mason Lindig.
Honorary Pallbearers will be granddaughters' great granddaughters and great-great granddaughter, Susan, Yvonne, Amy, Brook, Amber, Ashley, Jenna Allison, Julie, and Madison.
Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, or charity of Choice.
