Earl Edward Gaertner's Obituary
Earl Edward Gaertner of Fredericksburg passed away Thursday April 27, 2017 at the age of 90. He was born on February 6, 1927 to Oscar and Grace Rich Gaertner in Hooker OK. He married Jacqueline Bashford on September 22, 1951 in Stamford TX. He had his BS in geology and worked in the oil and gas industry.
Earl is survived by his children Carrie Vogel of Durango CO, Brock Gaertner of Austin TX, Barry Gaertner and wife Julie of Denver CO, and his companion Vicki Brown.
He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and grace Gaertner, wife of 57 years Jacqueline Gaertner , brother Glynn Gaertner.
Per his wishes Mr. Gaertner will be cremated and a private service will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch , St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
