Ella Itz Fetzer of Austin died Saturday, July 22, 2023.  Ella was born March 11, 1932, to Erwin and Elna Durst Itz in Fredericksburg, Texas.  She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Vetter; grandson Price Vetter, Price's wife, Amy, their son, Miles; her sister Iola; and two nieces, six nephews, and their families.  Her husband, Bill, and siblings Leo, Paula, and Harold predeceased her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, at 8:30am at Faith Lutheran Church, 6600 Woodrow Avenue, Austin, with her funeral service at 10am.  Ella will be buried at Der Stadt Friedhof/City Cemetery in Fredericksburg at 2pm that afternoon.

Ella's family is deeply grateful to the staff of her assisted-living community, particularly her friend Shelly, as well as Hospice Austin.
