Elsie Louise Burrer of Fredericksburg passed away November 28, 2019 at the age of 86. She was born on June 7, 1933 in Fredericksburg to Ernst and Cristel Wille Meier. On February 14, 1974 she married Kermit Burrer.

Elsie is survived by her husband Kermit Burrer, children; Jaye Treibs and husband Kenneth, Kathy Farnhof, Cristel Feller and husband Jack, Tim Farnhof; stepchildren Brian Burrer and wife Donna, Becky Burrer, Brad Burrer and wife Edith, Susie Scott and husband Shawn, Missy Burrer, Wendy McIntyre and husband Damon; brother Stanley Meier and wife Shirley; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernst and Cristel Meier, brothers Reuben Meier, David Meier, and Milton Meier and the father of her children Conrad Farnhof.

Visitation will take place on Monday December 2, 2019 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 10:00a.m. in Bethany Lutheran Church with Reverend Kevin Haug officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Treibs, Jody Feller, Cole Feller, Zach Farnhof, Andy Farnhof, Jacob Jenschke, James Jenschke, and Wesley Burrer.

Graveside services will follow in Der Stadt Friedhof.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church Christmas Journey, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, Gillespie County Historical Society or the charity of one's choice.
