Born on a farm near Aberdeen South Dakota, the 8th of 9 children, to Frederick and Martha (Dobrick) Brick on Christmas Day, 1925. Educated through the 8th grade. She met her husband Alvin at the 4th of July picnic at age 16 and was married March 25, 1944. Her husband preceded her in death in 2018, after 73 years of marriage.
Besides her husband she is preceded in death by her only daughter Peggy (Stotz) Manlapig. She is survived by her oldest son and spouse Ronald A. Stotz and Kathi, and another son and spouse Dean Stotz and Kathy. She is also survived by Son-in-law Russell Manlapig. She has a legacy of 10 grandchildren , 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She desired to be remembered for her love of the Lord and love for all her children.
Visitation will be Thursday April 16, 2026 from 4:00p.m.- 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will take place on Friday April 17, 2026 at 10:30a.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Knopp Healthcare Services, or the charity of one's choice.
