Emmie Lou Klein of Fredericksburg passed away on January 14, 2019 at the age of 71.

She was born in Fredericksburg TX on October 18, 1947 to Robert August and Ella Duecker Pehl Sr.  She is married to Donald Klein. She worked as a craftsman for James Avery Jewelers.

Emmie is survived by her husband Donald A. Klein a son Flint Klein and wife Dana of Austin; sisters Loyce Tatsch and husband David, Betty Schmidt and husband Dennis; brother Bobby Pehl all of Fredericksburg, 3 grandchildren Christian Klein, Devon Klein of Springfield MO and Harper Klein of Austin and 2 special friends Ursula Worrell and Janice Stephenson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will take place on Saturday January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harper.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday January 25, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice, St. Antony Catholic Church or the charity of one's choice.
