Era Babe Smith Lollar of Fredericksburg passed away at the age of 97. She was born on January 18, 1920 in Mills County Texas to Daniel Bates Smith and Mattie Era Spencer Smith. She married Horris Julian Lollar on May 17, 1936.

She is survived by her children Thelma Louise Lollar Evans and husband Orvel , Alvis Jeanette Ahrens and husband Rudy. grandchildren, Derek Lollar, Darwin Lollar, Roger Lollar, Dwight Lollar, Sabra Lollar Spence, Joe Don Lollar, Paul Barr, Teresa Barr Gonzalez, Angelia Evans Severtson, Richie T. Evans Amy Ahrens Geistweidt, Curtis Ahrens. 10 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Horris and Mattie Smith, siblings, James O. Smith, Clyde Smith, Velma Smith, Walter Smith, Cecil Smith, Gladys Smith Maas, Neva Smith Wootan, C.A. Smith, and Lonnie Smith.

Visitation will be Saturday July 1, 2017 from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m.  in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Saturday July 1, 2017 at 11:00a.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home with Ann Hoch officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be; Curtis Ahrens, David Geistweidt, Jacob Geistweidt, Jamie Gonzalez, Paul Barr, Dwight Lollar.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hill Country Memorial Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
