Erik Kennedy Gillespie of Fredericksburg passed away on October 25, 2025 at the age of 60. He was born in Los Angeles CA to Leo Garcia and Linda Light.

He is survived by his father James Gillespie; children Charlotte Gallegos and husband Will of Denver CO, Eric Gillespie Jr of Raleigh NC, Gabriel Garcia Gillespie of Denver CO, Elijah Garcia Gillespie and wife Lexi of Denver CO, Hannah Garcia Gillespie of Denver CO; as well as 5 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Linda Light.

Per his wishes he will be cremated with a memorial service November 21, 2025, at 1:00pm,Three Trees Chapel, 13416 W. Arbor Pl. Littleton CO 80217.
