Obituary

Estelle Seelhurst age 91 of Fredericksburg TX went to her heavenly home on Septembr 10, 2023.

Her loving husband Marion was waiting for her at the gates of heaven along with her parents Hider and Ester Knight as well as her siblings Earline Mehrkam, Marcelle Boney, Faye Earline Knight, Mattie Pearl Knight, Sherrill Frank Knight and Sub Jr. Knight.

Estelle was born on March 23, 1932 in Oakhurst TX. She grew up on a rural farm and after completing High School followed her sister Earline to the "big city" of Houston and earned her degree at Elliott Business College. Estelle married her "true love" Marion on September 15, 1951 at Riverside Methodist Church in Houston.

Estelle worked at Standard Oil Company for 35 years as an executive secretary. After retirement she dedicated her life to Jesus, family and friends. Estelle was a strong, loving, generous, servant of God. She will be remembered for her kind, fun-loving, independent Christ-like walk through life until the very end.

Estelle is survived by her sister Faye Beene and husband Fred, brother Karley Knight and wife Wanda, her niece Pam Saladino and husband Lenny, nephew Junior Boney and wife Jean and many other nieces and nephews. An extra special blessing was Estelle's close relationship with her great nieces and nephews who always loved their aunt Estelle!

Special thanks and appreciation to Don and Sharon Steadman who lovingly supported Estelle through these past years with their companionship and care.
