Forrest Lee Armstrong of Fredericksburg, TX passed away on April 30, 2022 at the age of 74. He was born on July 21, 1947, in College Station, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward Earl Armstrong and Dean Reed Armstrong.

Forrest is survived by his wife Carmen Armstrong, his daughter Holly Irving and husband Chris of Cypress, Texas; granddaughter Ashlee Jean Malone and grandson Aiden Jack Malone; brother Greg Armstrong and wife Laurie Armstrong; niece Heidi Brueckner and nephew Dusty Armstrong.

Forrest graduated from Memorial Senior High School in 1965. He attended Stephen F. Austin University and graduated in 1970; earned a Master's in Business Administration from University of Houston in 1976.

He began his career as Portfolio Manager for Criterion Investment Corporation and later for River Oaks Bank & Trust and Compass Bank.

His special interests include gun collecting, antique ceiling fans , music ( mostly Tejano and classic rock), looking at land, old cars, and tractors.  He enjoyed reading, traveling, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Per his wishes Forrest will be cremated with a private service at a later date.
