Frances Muriel Schlieper passed away Friday, August 12 ^th , at the age of 82.

Muriel is survived by her children: James Lee Schlieper and wife Mona of Victoria, Cheri Zapata and husband Teo of Fredericksburg; daughter-in-law Diane Schlieper of Edinburg; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Susy Polhman and brother, Terry Kinder and wife Sharon; adopted daughter, Karen Holt and husband Mark.

Muriel was born August 5, 1940, in Batchtown IL, to Andrew and Lois Kinder. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James William Schlieper, children Mark Alan Schlieper and William Jon Schlieper; great grandson James William Schlieper; siblings Bob and Leslie Kinder and longtime companion Jack Ledford Sr.

Muriel Schlieper will be cremated with private family services and internment in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

A memorial service will take place on October 8, 2022 from 1o:30 am to 12:30p.m in the VFW Hall in Fredericksburg.
