Gary William Smith of Johnson City, was a caring son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He passed away on July 12, 2022 at the age of 60.

He was born to Harold and Dorothy Smith in Shelbyville, Indiana. Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Elisa; father, Harold; and his sister, Tammy. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; two sons, Cody Smith, Casey Smith and wife Katy, and his favorite grandson Corben; siblings Jerry Smith, Robin Smith, and Gay DeLeon.

Gary enjoyed being with his friends and family along with hunting and rodeos. He never met a stranger that he couldn't befriend in the matter of minutes. He was the type of person that would be the first to respond if there was ever a need from family or friends. Paw Paw Gary was super proud to finally be a grandfather and played the part wonderfully to his grandson.

A memorial service will be held July 29, 2022 from 6:00p.m. -8:00p.m. at HOME Church 405 US Hwy 281 in Johnson City 78636.
