Gary Wayne Strackbein passed away June 26th at the age of 76.

Gary is survived by son Jason Strackbein and wife Carley of Christoval, daughter Kina Goodrich and husband Michael of Tow, ; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and siblings Howard Strackbein and wife Lolita, JoAnn Esensee and husband Leroy and Bernice Czajka, bother James Stackbein and wife Elli of Harper TX.

Gary was born February 26, 1949, in Fredericksburg, to Edgar and Amanda Markwordt Strackbein. He married Serena Fisher in 2008.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and siblings Janet Strackbein, Barbara Riley, Linda Roberts, Karen Pollard and Sharon Buford.

Visitation for Gary Strackbein will be 4-6 p.m., Monday, June 30th, in Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral services with military honors will be held 10a.m. Tuesday, July 1st, in Harper Community Cemetery with Pastor Mike Weaver officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fredericksburg VFW or the charity of one's choice.
