Gayle Jean Segroves formerly of Fredericksburg and Comfort, passed away Tuesday December 6, 2016 at the age of 76.

She was born in Seminole County, OK on November 11, 1940 to Earl and Nellie B. Segroves.

Her love of music lead her to teach others. She taught at many schools and directed many choirs in Oklahoma, Houston, San Antonio, and the Texas Hill Country.  Although born in Oklahoma, her heart was at home only in the Texas Hill Country.

Gayle is survived by her daughter Wendy B. Segroves-Mabilia, son-in-laws Nick Mabilia & Jason Espinosa, and 3 grandchildren; Katlyn Nicole Mabilia, Jason Espinosa Jr., Josiah Espinosa.

She is preceded in death by her brother Jerry Wayne Segroves.

Visitation will be from 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Fredericksburg Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Sevice at 7:00p.m. in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Stroke Recovery Foundation , the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the charity of your choice.
