Mr. Gerald Howard passed away Thursday, May 10 ^th , at the age of 89.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Betty Howard of Fredericksburg; daughter, Sharon Grona & husband Billy of Fredericksburg; son, Mike Howard of Gatesville;  daughter-in-law, Annette Howard of Magnolia 5 grandchildren Jennifer Erwin and husband Michael and their children Chance, Bryce, Taylor; Kim Costas and husband Hantse and their children Nic, Tyler, Ryan, Jake, Luke; Brad Howard and wife Sarah and their son Chapel; Brittany Skolaut and husband Eric; Andy Howard; sister, Sue Wilkerson of LaPotre TX; & sister-in-law, Edith Ann Freitag, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald Alden and Mahaley Howard, son Jerry Howard, Mother and Father-in-law Andrew and Ida Miller, sister Doris Wyont, Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law Jack Gandy, Davey Wyont, Walt Wilkerson, Neal and Earline Cooper, and Curtis Freitag.

Visitation for Gerald Howard will begin at 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 15 ^th , with a vigil service at 6:30 in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 16 ^th , in St. Mary's small church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Hill Country Memorial Hospice, or the charity of one's choice.
