Mr. Gerald Wendel passed away Saturday, January 26 ^th , at the age of 78.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Thelma Jo Wendel of Fredericksburg; daughter Lynn Henshaw and husband Andy of Fredericksburg; son Roger Wendel and wife Kelly of Seguin; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 7 step great grandchildren; sister Sharon Steadman and husband Don; brother Jim Wendel; brother Tim Wendel and wife Claire.

Funeral services for Gerald Wendel will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 30 ^th , in Greater Life Christian Center. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, January 29 ^th in Fredericksburg Funeral Home and 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, January 30 ^th in church. Memorial contributions may be made to Greater Life Christian Center, Gideons International, or the charity of one's choice.
