Gertrude Schuch Land of Fredericksburg passed away on Wednesday December 9, 2020 at the age of 97. She was born on August 2, 1923, in Gillespie County, to Albert and Anna Wittkohl Schuch. On November 6, 1941 she married Harvey August Land.

She is survived by her children Pat and Stanley Crenwelge, Donna and Robert Wolf, 4 grandchildren: Ryan Wolf, Schandra Brock and husband Matt, Darren Crenwelge and wife Kristi, Kristi Wright and husband Denzal and 9 great grandchildren: Kasey Wright, Kolby Wright, Madison Wright, Wade Wolf, Victoria Keegan, Bryce Brock, Bailey Brock, Kyle Paulin, Sara Banchs and husband Ben.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harvey A. Land; parents Albert and Anna Schuch; siblings Margaret Sattler, Max Schuch, Lorenz Schuch, Chester Schuch, Arno Schuch, Rudi Schuch, Clarence Schuch.

A private family service will take place on Friday December 11 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home which will be live streamed from Fredericksburg Funeral Homes Facebook page on Facebook live. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery the public is invited to attend the graveside services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
