Grace Katherine Powell of Fredericksburg passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 74. She was born in Weslaco TX to Bert Riley and Dorothy Mae Elrod Ogden. She married Daniel A. Powell in McAllen TX in 1968.

She is survived by her husband Daniel A Powell of Fredericksburg, son Lance Powel and wife Heather, Sister Janet Vackar and husband Bob; as well a 5 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bert and Dorothy Ogden, daughter Katherine Danielle Powell.

Visitation will take place on Thursday February 27, 2025 from 1:00p.m – 2:00p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 106 E. Driftwood Fredericksburg TX, with a service to follow at 2:00p.m.
