Harold Gene Strickland II, "Smiley", of Fredericksburg and formerly of Louisiana, died peacefully in his home on Sept 15, 2018. He was born Feb 24, 1945 in Kilgore, Texas. Harold was an Electrical Engineer, Eagle Scout, and avid Harley Rider.

Survivors: Mother, Marvis Strickland, wife, Brenda Strickland, son Harold Strickland III & wife Emily, daughter Shana Strickland, daughter Sheri Lax & husband Jeff, granddaughter Alaina Lax, step-daughters Jennifer & Jaslynn Dodds, step-son James Dodds. Brother Marvin Strickland & wife Sharon, sister Bebe June Chandler & husband Ken, sister Judy Christopher & husband.

Many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded by his Dad, Harold Strickland Sr.

Memorial service will be held at Fredericksburg Funeral Home on Saturday, September 29th at 3pm.
