Henry Louis "Butch" Welge of Doss passed away on Tuesday March 9, 2021. He was born on April 3, 1940 in Fredericksburg TX to Henry F. and Edna Basse Welge. On May 22, 1975 he married Sherry Stewart.  Henry was a rancher and wildlife manager. He ran track and went to Southwest Texas for college. He was a founder of the 30-06 Club Stock Show Syndicate.

He is survived by his wife Sherry Welge of Doss, daughters Kara Beth Welge of Yancey and Kayla Marie Welge of San Angelo; sisters Elouise Teschner and husband James, Berta Ann Boyce and husband Ken; brother Conrad Welge and wife Marsha; grandchildren; Karsyn Brynn Pack and Sutton Dean Powell.

He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Edna Welge, sister Darlene Behrends and her husband Leroy Behrends.

Henry will be cremated and a celebration of his life will take place on his ranch at a later date.
