Hilda Kuhlmann of Fredericksburg passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 88. She was born in Gillespie County to Edgar A. and Clara Becker Heimann. She married Roland John Kuhlmann on May 30, 1953 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.

Hilda is survived by her children Ronald Kuhlmann and his wife Rosie of Fredericksburg, Sandra Klett and husband David of Pleasanton, Doug Kuhlmann and wife D'Ann of San Angelo; 6 grandchildren Adrian Kuhlmann, Arron Kuhlmann and wife Natali, Kimberly (Klett) Caraway and husband James, Karrie (Klett) Hershman, Kate (Kuhlmann) Higginbotham and husband Robert, Leah (Kuhlmann) Drennan and husband Zach; 15 great grandchildren Niyah, Ariela and Ciara Kuhlmann; Jaedyn and Jaizlynne Kuhlmann; Evelynn, Gretchen and Trey Caraway; Caden, Rylan, Micah and Kaylea Hershman; Zuri and Duke Drennan; Ben Higginbotham.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roland John Kuhlmann, parents Edgar and Clara Heimann, siblings Margaret Eckert, Mildred Zesch, Clara Mae Knopp, Edgar Heimann Jr., Brothers-in-law Arthur Knopp, Milton Eckert and R.C. Zesch; sister-in-law Rosalie Heimann great granddaughter Julianna Kuhlmann.

Visitation will be Friday September 15, 2023 from 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. in the Fredericksburg Funeral Home.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 2:00p.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Interment will follow in Der Stadt Friedhof.

Pallbearers will be: Caden Hershman, Rylan Hershman, James Caraway, Bobby Zesch, , Robert Higgenbotham, Arron Kuhlmann, Adrian Kuhlmann, Trey Carraway.

Honorary pallbearers will be al her grandchildren and great grandchildren, with  James Heimann and Zach Drennan.
